Annual Report 2025-2026
Climate action This year, we released our Organizational Climate Change Strategy. We also began developing our pilot Firm Practice Enhancement Program to help firms incorporate sustainability considerations into their work and projects. We engaged with a working group of volunteers to help guide the program’s development. The program will be offered through a cohort format, and the pilot, set to launch early 2027, could include up to 20 registrant firms. In addition to various climate change-focused CE sessions and our continuous work to optimize the Climate Change Information Portal, our sustainability focused work saw us host several events, including our annual Sustainability Panel Event on May 20, 2026, on the theme of sustainability in the fast-tracked era of major projects, and another on November 27, 2025, on embracing innovation, adaptive approaches, and continuous learning in a changing climate. Investigation, discipline, and enforcement Protecting the public and maintaining trust in the professions is central to our role and requires a strong, responsive approach to investigation, discipline, and enforcement. In 2025–2026, we again processed high volumes of investigation, discipline, and enforcement matters. These continuing high volumes of complaint and enforcement matters reflect the growing complexity of our regulatory environment and our commitment to proactive oversight.
