Professional practice

Practice Advice Program The Practice Advice Program offers interpretation and guidance on the standards of professional and ethical practice as established under the PGA , the Engineers and Geoscientists BC Bylaws, and any formal guidance published by Engineers and Geoscientists BC. Through the Practice Advice Program, we partner with subject-matter experts to develop practical guidance for registrants. This guidance is published as quality management guides, professional practice guidelines, or practice advisories. Professional practice guidelines and advisories published In 2025–2026, we released three new guidelines and two advisories to support registrants in meeting their professional and ethical obligations. We also contributed to the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies British Columbia (ACEC-BC) guidelines for engineering services.
