Practice advisories

Practice topic requests Engineers and Geoscientists BC also developed a request-for-guidance form to make it easier for registrants and others to identify areas where new or updated professional practice guidance may be needed. The form gathers information about the issue, its risks, the reason for the request, and any existing resources or interested parties that should be considered.

This added structure helps staff make more consistent and defensible decisions about which practice resources should proceed and when, while also considering capacity, organizational priorities, and the need to keep existing guidance current.
