Think about that shirt you’re wearing. What’s it doing for you? It covers your upper body and maybe keeps you warm. Yet it could do so much more in the future: it could charge your smartphone, be your smartphone, monitor your heart rate, summon an ambulance, take a picture, control your music, give you a hug, pay for your coffee, cool your body, heat your body, deliver your medication…. And, it would look and feel just the same as it does now.
