Engineers and Geoscientists BC produces professional practice guidelines to increase clarity and provide guidance regarding the standards of practice that engineering and geoscience professionals should follow in carrying out specific activities and providing professional services.

Practice Guidelines—Legislated Flood Assessments in a Changing Climate in BC . Published August 28, 2018, version 2.1 of the guidelines is now available on the association’s website. The updates to these guidelines were introduced to ensure consistency with Engineers and Geoscientists BC’s Professional Practice Guidelines—Flood Mapping in BC , and include general improvements such as wording and updating of technical components.
