This year marks the 30th anniversary of BC Hydro’s dedicated student scholarship program with the Engineering and Geoscience Education Foundation BC (EGEFBC). Since 1996, BC Hydro has consistently fueled the workforce of tomorrow by providing three uninterrupted decades of scholarship support to an estimated 284 engineering and geoscience students. “Engineers and geoscientists play a critical role in designing, building, operating, and maintaining the infrastructure that delivers safe, reliable, and sustainable electricity to communities across the province,” said Tennille Wong, Manager, Community Investment and Retiree Programs, BC Hydro. “By investing in students pursuing these fields, BC Hydro helps build a skilled workforce, supports innovation, and strengthens the capacity needed to meet
