Innovation Summer 2026
This project features the first major commercial application of Setu Technologies’ patented, high-performance synthetic fibers in a premium urban setting: the custom-engineered concrete benches for Royal Bank Plaza in downtown Vancouver. In collaboration with Szolyd Concrete Corp., these structural assets utilize Green Surface Treated Fibers (GSTFs) – manufactured from upcycled plastic waste – as a sustainable alternative to traditional reinforcement. The engineering core of the project focuses on extending the service life of the infrastructure. This UPCYCLED MARINE PLASTIC REINFORCEMENT FOR URBAN INFRASTRUCTURE
