ABOUT US Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia is the regulatory and licensing body for the engineering and geoscience professions in BC. We are charged with protecting the public and the environment by setting and maintaining high standards for academics, experience, and professional practice for over 40,000 registrants and 4,000 firms. If these standards are not met, we take action through our investigation and discipline processes. We are governed by a Board of elected registrants and government appointees responsible for setting policy and direction for the organization under the authority of the Professional Governance Act. Engineers and Geoscientists BC’s Strategic Plan provides the vision, mission, values, and direction that help guide the Board’s efforts.
