SEEKING PRESENTERS FOR 2018 ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Engineers and Geoscientists BC is seeking presenters for technical, business, managerial, and personal development sessions at our 2018 annual conference. The deadline for proposals is February 26, 2018. The conference and annual general meeting will take place October 18–20, 2018, at the Vancouver Convention Centre East, in Vancouver, BC. With a focus on achieving excellence through best business, technical, and ethical practices, the conference will bring together engineers, geoscientists, technologists, faculty, government representatives, students, and other members of the community for two full days of professional development. Sessions will include management, better business, structural engineering, energy efficiency and renewable energy, emerging professionals, engineering and geoscience in the resource sector, municipal engineering, environmental engineering, and other relevant topics. Over 800 delegates are expected to attend. Details on presentation and proposal requirements are available on the association’s website at egbc. ca/ac18call . Please note: Presentations for the purpose of promoting or selling specific products, services, or providers will not be considered. Presentations should be educational. Presentations should be 1 hour and 15 minutes in length. Presentations of 35 minutes in length may also be considered. All presentations must include time for questions and answers.
