After revisiting the proposed plan amidst community pushback, the ministry shared in a statement to Engineers and Geoscientists BC that after “further consultation with project partners regarding the proposed line-marking changes, the ministry will reinstate the existing line marking and lanes.” The project is expected to be completed by late summer 2025, showing how engineering is as much about listening as it is about designing.
