Communication is strong – and transparency matters Registrants generally feel the organization

Engagement should be interactive and responsive

While surveys remain the most preferred method of engagement, participants also valued informal discussions and opportunities for real-time interaction – whether in person or virtual. Many expressed interest in more “face-to-face” opportunities, such as Q&A sessions or meet-and-greets at events like the Annual Conference. Tone and clarity matter Several participants noted that the tone of communications can sometimes feel overly formal or regulatory. They expressed a preference for plain language and a more approachable tone – especially in materials intended to inform or engage rather than enforce.
