BUILDING ACCESSIBILITY It’s easy to take built environments for granted. But if you happen to have a disability, environments built without sensitivity and forethought can make everyday tasks inconvenient, impossible, or even dangerous. BC engineers with the Rick Hansen Foundation and the City of Vancouver are hoping to ensure that built environments leave no one behind.
